Third Year Students

	Andre Bradley lives and works in Philadelphia, PA. Bradley received an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2015, was selected as a president’s scholar, and was recipient of the T.C. Colley Award for Photographic Excellence. Bradley’s book Dark Archives has been shortlisted for the 2016 Photo-Text Book Award at Les Recontres De La Photographie and the 2016 Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation First PhotoBook Award.
	Hugo Gallo is a Brazilian artist based in São Paulo developing work as a filmmaker, photographer, and actor/performer. He's interested in creating methodologies of research and production drawing from image-making, writing, audiovisual recording processes, theatrical play, improvisation and movement research. Current work orbits around an on-going curiosity towards how personal histories unfold in the body, the malleability of identity, and how mediated experience shapes human connection, emotion, and desire.
	Shantal Kim is a South Korean artist who primarily works with photography, images, and performance. She is interested in the intricate relationship between images and memory by examining it with performative experiments. She studied Art&Technology and psychology for Bachelor's degree in Sogang University, Seoul.
	Laura Pierson was born in Los Angeles, earned a B.S. in Kinesiology, and received an M.A. in Visual Arts at California State University, Northridge. She photographs landscapes and natural environments using analog, digital and alternative approaches. Her mixed media work embodies the physical and emotional responses related to Alzheimer’s.
	Kelsey Sucena is a New York based photographer, poet, and park ranger currently residing on Long Island. Working at the intersection of photography and poetry, their work investigates concepts of identity, impermanence, and language, pairing written words with photographic narratives to investigate the existential nature of documenting life.
	Amy Schuessler is an artist, writer and photographer and a recent graduate (with an Honors B.A. in Photography and a Minor in Art History) of Columbus College of Art and Design, where she graduated Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude. Schuessler's work as a photographer relies on techniques and ideas from photographic history and includes recurring themes of history, nature, psychology and mortality. Engaging formal genres of art such as the Dutch tradition of still life and ideas of memento mori and nature morte allows me to express shadowy ideas and concepts in a concrete and contemporary way. My work focuses on the photograph as an object, the romance of the antiquated process and tradition, and the role that language plays within visual photographic art.
