The Image Text Ithaca (ITI) initiative was founded in 2014 at Ithaca College by faculty directors Nicholas Muellner and Catherine Taylor to bring together an independent press, ongoing workshops and symposia, and a low-residency M.F.A. program at the intersection of writing and visual media. Through experimentation, adventure, and creative exchange, participants have developed ideas, relationships, and tactics, creating a vibrant international community of writers, photographers, editors, publishers, and educators.
